There is a Washington Post article on the new book by journalist Robert Draper, "Dead Certain: The Presidency of George Bush." It is the first biography of the George Bush Presidency.
Book Tells Of Dissent In Bush's Inner Circle - White House Granted Author Unusual Access
There were many parts to this article that are deserving of examination and obvious questioning. I found this particular revelation to be somewhat problematic:
Bush considered whether to cooperate with the book for several months, Draper reports. The two men met for the first time on Dec. 12, 2006, and at the conclusion, the president agreed to another interview. In one of the interviews, he looked ahead to his post-presidency,TALKING OF HIS PLANS TO BUILD AN INSTITUTE FOCUSED ON FREEDOM and to "replenish the ol' coffers" by giving paid speeches.
Can you imagine a Bush institute focused on freedom. One can only surmise that that he is talking about ways of eliminating freedom. The Patriot Act, Military Commissions Act, the reintroduction of torture, and the pre-emptive and elective invasion of countries accompanied with no plan on how to rebuild the demolished country all point to the distinct elimination of freedom.
Bush has enabled the elimination of Habeus Corpus. He can determine based on his own incurious wealth of "knowledge" who is an enemy combatant and then proceed to throw that person into some hell hole for the rest of their lives without the prisoner even knowing why he or she is imprisoned.
Surely our president is joking with his biographer and is using this instant as a way of revealing his own personal style of humor.

Freedom BV$H style means the freedom of the wealthy & their( BIG CORPS) to do as they please..with the rest of us. Or for the poor it means "Nothing left to lose."
I also liked the part where Bush ran into Bill Clinton at the UN and stated that 6 years from now he sure wouldn't be hanging aound the lobby of the UN.
Hopefully, BV$H will be imprisoned on Elba.
