Love

Take another look at this Beatles clip.

The arrangement is unique from the point of view of a standard hit tune: bongos, claves (who played the claves?), steel string acoustic guitar, nylon string classical guitar, and electric bass. This is very unusual and unorthodox.

This mix is outstanding in that you can clearly hear the classical guitar work. Here George Harrison is plucking the classical guitar with a pick, usually it would be played finger style, apoyando and free stroke.

McCartney wrote the song with fine skill - Fm to Cm as he sings the verse, then as the chorus arrives - "and I love her" - the chords change to the relative Major. George takes a great solo as the entire song lifts a half step in key, and Paul finishes the song in that slightly higher new key.

The Beatles used a vast range of influences in constructing their songs. This one is Beatles go Spanish.
