Your kidding they do! I just published the link to the Royal Society articles about Climate and it' frankly pretty scary stuff. According to this group the World is in for a rather rude awakening on this topic. Climate change is happening NOW and it's going to get far worse and fast ( with the next 50 yrs.) The train as already left the station any further stalling in regards to doing anything about it will only amplify the coming calamity. If you couple the rapid accelerating rise in population also expected and add to that the rapid Industrialization of Asia it's horrifying. The B sci fi epic of 40 yrs. ago "Soylent green" might have understated just how ugly things are going to turn if that's possible. I think another epiic from that time ZARDOZ might be even closer to the truth. In any event we've essentially wasted the last 40 yrs. arguing ( playing our fiddles) while Rome burns so to speak.

I perused the article, rude wakening indeed.

We took a step backwards in this country after the recent election. An all GOP house will go nowhere with climate change policy. People don;t get it. Hasn't affected them enough yet.

Here's the problem once the frog ( the public) becomes aware that something is wrong it will be way too late and the frog will be literally boiled alive.

Fog is right. Its a breakdown across the board where the corporate media has to maintain the corporate policy.

Its way too complicated to learn about global warming, anything that's complicated must be fishy, part of the liberal elite.

I don't know, Glenn Beck has them watching his elaborate act complete with charts etc. They learn what they want to learn.
