Food Or Heat

Food stamps and food pantries are holding a lot of the country together right now. The data trickles in about how various communities are negatively affected by the recession.

Roughly 14 out of every 100 people in Vermont needs food assistance.

The Enosburg Food Shelf is feeding more families than it had expected. Three years after opening it now serves an average of 160 families each month. It had predicted it would be serving about 60 families.

The kleptocracy that rules this sad land wants to end all Social safety programs. They say it makes people lazy and not want to work. What bastards they are. They pull away work and then have the gall to want to pull away what little relief is left as well. Talk about death panels these people are vicious.

I hope it doesn't come to them pulling the rug out of food. The media won't show it anyhow.
