Thin

The McClatchy article is painting a picture of the evidence that will be used against some detainees at Gitmo.

The picture is one where the evidence is very superficial.

We are aware of this situation but it would appear that some cases are moving forward. One might suspect that more detainees will be freed.

If in fact detainees are innocent, then in the context of being held at Gitmo for nearly 8 years, we arrive at a severe interference in a person's life. Bush seemed happy to simply maintain the status quo, throw away the key and forget about it. Hopefully justice will prevail.

McClatchy: Even in cases the U.S. wins, Guantanamo evidence is suspect
...some of the evidence against him came from triple hearsay and coerced confessions.

...coerced and should not be admitted -- in any fashion in any court.''
