Where's the fire to make some needed change and why is there little fight and more compromise especially when the hand is in your favor.
With no public option and no Medicare expansion, what's the point.
McClatchy: Frustrated liberals voice discontent with Obama
On health care, Obama faces liberal fury for his willingness to dump the public option and a Medicare expansion to survive a Senate filibuster. A key vote on cutting off debate is expected early Monday.
Many liberals are also angry that Obama and Senate Democratic leaders bowed to Sen. Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut, the Democrat-turned-independent who represents a state heavy with insurance interests and helped kill the public option and the Medicare expansion.

Read Glenn Greenwalds's article @ Commonsense .org... He hits what Obama's admin. is really all about. If he and Matt Taibi ( Rolling Stone) and other Progressive writers are right we won't be seeing much in the way of any REAL change from this guy and his team. We've essentially heard what we wanted to hear and should have taken a closer look at what this guy was really about. He's a Corporatist AKA ( Liberal fascist.) As loaded as that statement is if the shoe fits wear it. Liberal Fascism is just fascism without jack boots and with a smile button and a letter from the IRS.
Interesting that you write this.
I had come to the conclusion recently that there were two parties.
I called them liberal corporatism, and fascist corporatism. I do like Greenwald, will check it out.
