Bank of America Corp and Merrill Lynch agreed on a plan to pay up to $5.8 billion in bonuses to employees of the combined firm as BofA moved to take over the ailing investment bank, the Wall Street Journal said.It would be interesting to see the figures on how much in investments ordinary people lost with Merrill Lynch. Merrill Lynch always had the notoriety of being extremely partial to the high level investors while ordinary people had their portfolios in dust bins. This is very disturbing and gets at the key greed within these structures.
