Tax Cuts

Allegedly 95% of Americans will have a reduction in their taxes. and this going to happen relatively soon.

We'll take it.

The main problem is that so many have lost their jobs and will lose their jobs. Its still about job creation.

Reuters: Obama tells Treasury to begin cutting taxes
"I'm pleased to announce that this morning the Treasury Department began directing employers to reduce the amount of taxes withheld from paychecks, meaning that by April 1st, a typical family will begin taking home at least $65 more every month," Obama said in his weekly radio address.

$65 a month..LOL! Try paying a $1400 a month Health ( oxymoron) Ins. bill with $65.00 a month. This is the problem. The huge gap between what the top 10% of earners and the rest of us make has to mean 50% are being reduced to serfdom in one way or another. Take the banks from these people O and stop bailing out failed Corp. managements. Why should the tax payers be asked to save the likes of a Robert Nardelli ( who gutted Home Depot) and is now destroying Chrysler? He'll then give himself a huge bonus with tax payer money and laugh all the way to the Cayman Islands on his private Corp. jet. It's disgusting and people are sick of these barons ( without titles).

Some paper pusher did the math and decided that $65 times however many millions gave them the correct number that made everybody happy. You are right $65 is chump change. For some though it could mean food.
