His ONLY chance is to really crush her in Calif, NY , NJ and Pa. Not likely given all have significant AA and Hispanic populations that don't seem to care much for the cut of his cloth. Hillary learned from her first time at bat and made damn sure both the African-American and hispanic electorate were her top priorities this time around and I think after her humiliating loss to a total novice (OBAMA) in 2008 she and Bill came to realize they needed to spend the next 7 yrs. basically smoozing these two groups. It worked. Nevertheless, sadly most of these people live in RED states that Trump will win anyway so it might have been for naught. The purple States that will decide the election are precisely where Bernie has out perfromed her for the most part, not totally. That she did well in Ohio and Fla. and Virg. was important for the fall. Nevertheless, she's going to have to smooze Bernie's following after the convention and that's not going to be easy. My guess is she won't and her advisors are telling her they'll turn out anyway. That would be a YUGE mistake as Bernie would say. The Clinton's are pretty smart though so we'll see.

All this is Glenn is another crazy American election period. There are little decorations and peculiarities about every one so far and this one has lots of its own character and a cast of characters. All roads right now seem to point to Clinton Vs Trump. After that, there are basically 230 something blue electoral votes as a given particularly in an election like this where the GOP candidate is obviously weak and unqualified, then there are what is it 150 or so blue electoral votes given, the usual suspects Alabama, Mississippi, West Virginia etc etc. So winning this time will be cutting a finer line but on the other hand maybe not. It could very well be that Clinton wins in a landslide or possibly it's a squeaker. But can Trump win in a landslide? No, that aint happening.

I highly doubt Bernie can ever catch up. The problem is his appeal is just to narrow. Clinton has built a wider more diverse coalition and she and Bill took the last 7 yrs. doing it in advance. Sanders just didn't have the connections within the two critical groups he would have needed to win this African Americans and Hispanic people. I wonder though had the messenger been different not his message how this might have been? We'll never know. He IMO cannot win Calif, or NY. Without winning both by large margins now his insurgent campaign is over.

Yes, this is the thing of it. Hillary Clinton had a lot of this nomination tied up before it even started. You try to tell this to people and they jump all over you though. I tried to say this on Facebook and Bernie Sanders people jumped all over me. It's not opinion, it's just the way the game is played and the information was out there if people cared to look at it. Of course the Clintons know how to play. Turns out Jeb Bush, does not. He didn't have the internal support, he had deep pocket donors but not a broad base in the GOP. The other thing is that the years of agnatology from the FOX News/GOP/Tea Party fact free vortex caught on big time and Trump, who ironically seems to know as little as his base supporters, is surfing that dumb wave like an expert. I think it's riot that Trump goes out there and tells these people that he's smart! Fact is, he is at the same intelligence rank as his supporters. But you see, all these people have secret arcane knowledge, they're all conspiracy buffs who know hidden secrets about all kinds of hush hush stuff. And so what Trump's crowd is in a secret society of ultra smart people who have magically transcended facts and can fill in the answers to pressing issues with a knuckle sandwich and their brilliant minds.
