No Means No

Which brain wins out, little brain or big brain. For many its the little brain.

Live Science: Why No Doesn't Mean No to Some Men
According to 2000 report by the Department of Justice, 17.6 percent of American women are the victims of a completed or attempted rape at some point in their lives.

This is complicated.

No often means yes.

Women often want a dangerous or threatening mate.

Should a woman think she can be as provocative as she wants, then simply say "no," and there's her rape case?

I'm not saying that men aren't abusive jerks who need consciousness raising, but... it's complicated.

If no mean yes then its something that's understood beforehand. If someone's sensitivity is so low that they do not recognize no as no, there's a problem. People can be as provocative as they want but if its not consensual, there's a big problem.

I think there also needs to be more open discussion especially with young people. There's such a prurient strain that runs through American discourse on these issues, however that there are built in structural problems. Look at O'Donnell, now is she helping or hurting. She simply represents a large swath out there with attitudes about sex. To some of those people no is confusing, and yes is even more confusing.
