Yes, apparently he wasn't such a b-tard when drunk. She may have a point. Maybe he was a jolly drunk.
I can totally understand, like what if my partner decided to get her act together and stop being a sloppy drunk, started running for god's sake, and got all ambitious about being a supreme court justice.
I would be outta there.
She talks about how he became abusive when he got sober. She is implying that he took on a sobriety program on his own volition without any mental health help from the outside. That is a tricky thing. Maybe he was medicating himself to repress his violent nature - that's bathtub psychology but who knows.
Still there are problems with her testimony to be sure.
His wifey poo just couldn't STFU could she? I bet he bitch slapped her big time when he saw what she did. Anita on the other hand did exactly the right thing by calling the Police. Thomas is menace to society and a joke as a Justice. His nomination showed exactly how much contempt the BV$H family has for the rule of Law but it turned out to be the vote they needed in 2000 didn't it? It's amazing how much damage one well place clan can cause isn't it?
