Now imagine this same scenario only the ants are bankers and the animal is the economy and you 'll understand why we have a shrinking economy. In a healthy society the banks don't eat it all and leave nothing . They allow the animal to breed carefully feed and tend to it and if their smart allow it to breed and then you have two and then three etc. Our bankers though prefer the other scenario.
