From the Gulf News: Iran 'duped' CIA over nuclear programme
British spy chiefs have grave doubts that Iran has mothballed its nuclear weapons programme, as a US intelligence report claimed last week, and believe the CIA has been hookwinked by Tehran, The Sunday Telegraph can reveal.We see the echoing of the same sentiments of the neoconservatives Bolton and Podhoretz last week.
But British intelligence is concerned that US spy chiefs were so determined to avoid giving President George Bush a reason to go to war that they got it wrong this time.
Pohoretz wrote in June of 2007 -

There is already a renewed call for war. Attacking the credibility and motives of the N.I.E. writers is the present action among the pro war people.

Of course those that want war aren't going to just quietly go away. Doesn't work that way. Nevertheless, the N.I.E. is the final word from our own Intell. folks and they've had enough of these MFer's. The straw that broke that camels back was letting Liddy off. That was notice to all of them that this Gov't was totally lawless. The gloves came off at that pt. But , look who the Dimocrat leadership are now turning on! The CIA ! The phony tapes scandal is IMO just revenge for the N.I.E., more of the same from an admin. that attacks anyone who dares to get in the way of its already half baked plans. The dimocrat leadership and the bluedogs have to now be seen as what they really are allies and enablers of the Neo-con wing of the BV$Hivik coalition. They want War with Iran as well.
Can the Zionists ever get away from their desire to take over the measureless and boundless "Promised Land"? Sadly, as long as these folks (and not all Jewish people are Zionists) keep up their raving for war they can only harm the Jewish people. Pohoretz and the AIPAC agitators for further war seem unable to understand that Americans are not so careful as they might be when it comes to distinguishing Zionists from Jewish people in general. Its up to these people to put a lid on the likes of Pohoretz and Bill Kristol -- they are dangerous.
