Fried

Who doesn't like fried and grilled food.

Its completely American and almost unavoidable unless you are scrupulous about your diet. But beware...

'Burned foods' linked to cancers
"General advice, resulting from this project, is to avoid overcooking when baking, frying or toasting carbohydrate-rich foods.

"French fries and roast potatoes should be cooked to a golden yellow rather than golden brown colour."

"This new study supports our current advice, which already assumes that acrylamide has the potential to be a human carcinogen.
Acrylamide - a colorless crystalline solid that readily forms water-soluble polymers.
"It may cause health problems if found in amounts greater than the health standard set by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)."
Be careful with EPA though. The present government favors business over environmental protection and therefor regulations have been loosened. The fox is watching the hen house.
