Not sure I agree, she gets a lot of support from women especially maybe over 40 liberals. There's a lot of support out there for the first woman president. Social she covers the right things beyond that though she would be center right. Trump as president - prepare for a lot of jingoistic insanity, further erosion of the safety net to physical infrastructure, probably another war or two, a lot of the rampant nonsense we saw during Bush 2 except probably a lot more violence. Trump is giving permission to the jingo to assault whatever is deemed questionable or suspicious. The White Supremacists have a new leader. 8 years of misery, maybe it's time to move for real.

I'll vote for her. Even though it's a waste of time and resent it. She will NEVER do anything to make my or my children's lives better because her bosses have no friggin interest in meaningful change. Just electing a women president isn't significant, Margret Thatcher was the 1st English PM and look how that worked out.

I agree, it's a thin veneer, first woman president. American politics is so strange, people look at the president and project so much psychology onto them, in truth it's not there. But there's something about the aura that seems to extend beyond fact. Lots of women will feel empowered by Hillary, lots of really good people. I know many.
