Bibi's been busy trying to provoke violence from the palestinian side. He hopes if he pokes them enough, and they react, he'll get all the votes he need for being the "strong daddy"
That's an endless mess and I think the world recognizes that generations need to pass before anything resembling stable peaceful coexistence occurs. I suspect the vast majority of Palestinians and Israelis are sick of it completely. The thing that scares me about Netanyahu is the war on Iran stance especially when coupled with the re-arising of the neocons in GOP politics. Romney's political advisers were neocons but his election was no going to happen. Jeb Bush on the other hand has an outside chance.
