The lack of snow pack again this year for the 4th straight winter is going to have some very serious consequences going forward for all of us. Calif. is the nations most populous state with the biggest economy and a very large agricultural sector that thrives on that snow pack. Much of the nation's winter veggies and fruits comes from the central valleys of Calif. I once lived in Calif. and attended University there. I still have friends and family that live there. If it doesn't start raining and more importantly snowing again soon Calif is going to find itself in a very bad place. Water is life and without it nothing grows. Millions of thirsty Califs. and dust bowl devastated farms could play out as a national tragedy and one of the 1st great effects of the general warming.
