As Bill McKibben of 350.org said last yr. in a lecture I saw him give at Rutgers U in New Brunswick, NJ, "We broke the Arctic Sea!" If it was ONLY the Arctic sea that would be one thing, unfortunately, no pun intended, the Arctic Sea is just the tip of the Iceberg of what we've broken. Since most people really have no way to know just how broken it really is and no real reference pt. beyond their own experience, its very hard to convince masses of them of what this means going forward. Or as comedian John Oliver has said, " we have proven that we cannot be trusted with the future tense."
