Cooperatives are tough to make work. Everyone should take a look at the Spanish Mondragon movement to see how they work when scaled up. As I said tough and you still need something to sell or make or service. Not just phony paper stocks and bonds. Wall st. is a bad model.

I was involved in a food co-op up here years ago and it's gone on to be very successful. I'm all for it. A few years back there was a housing co-operative idea out of Europe that got some traction - co-housing it's called. I will check out the Spanish Mondragon movement.
