Long story short - while the USA may slightly cut carbon emissions over the next few decades, India and China are cranking out more coal plants and cars every single day. This increased production in China and India will overwhelm any cut backs in the USA. Say hello to 400 to 500ppm or higher, scorching heat in the Summers, more bizarre single weather events like serious tornadoes in Upstate NY, erratic Winters, more exacerbated water conditions throughout the world including droughts, significant changes to the animal and insect populations, more health risks, rising sea levels, and on and on and on.

China and India are sealing the world's fate. Sadly, they just don't get it. Both these countries will suffer enormously as this disaster unfolds. A big chunk of China will go under the waves as the seas rise and India will turn into a desert as the Monsoon shifts north and east as the models are predicting and both will see their big river systems diminish as the glaciers in the Himalayas and the other BIG central Asian Mts. melt away. Its all short term progress at the price of a long term nightmare.
With the revelation that the Northern Hemisphere is topping 400ppm - we are in new territory plus what is stopping it from hitting 500ppm and more. Nothing. Call it Global Frying.
