Which Car To Buy

My favorite part about this article is the recommendation to buy a used car.

That is telling, cripes.

In the era of recession leveraged frugality consumer reports is telling you, and by that I mean the royal you, to buy a used car.

Used and abused is the new model of fiscal excellence. Its true in many other areas too. I was reading how the pink bathroom of the 50s and 60s is gaining momentum as a relic to be treasured. Remodeling a pink bathroom has to be reconsidered and they are trying to sell that idea on aesthetics. Baloney, this idea comes forward because we are broke. The recession has upped the interest in used now known as salvage, which is a far more politically correct term.

Anyhow, Ford, Kia, Honda, and Toyota make the good cut. Everything else is a consumer report no no. Poor GM, will they ever learn? What is with this company? I should apply for the CEO job, seriously now, I couldn't possibly do worse.

....and enshrining the Honda Fit as a new value-mobile.

"With the average new car losing 47 percent of its value in the first three years of ownership, buying a used car can be the best way for consumers to get the most vehicle for their money..."

U can't go wrong buying a used Prius or a Honda Civic / Fit. What we need fast is 100 mile range all electric. The Car companies have the Tech. it's just a matter of economies of scale. Tesla has a 100 mile range electric on the market today but it's just way to expensive. I'm surprised the Chinese haven't already started turning these cars out for $29.99 and only 3 small payments.
