C S Monitor seems to favor insider Gov. Haley Barbour of Mississippi. Presidential candidates are a lot like property. The key is location, location, location. Barbour is from the South. How many presidents or candidates in recent years are from the South - Clinton, Carter, Bush, even Gore.
Right now I think Obama wins. The GOP although in some mild, very mild ascendency is scattered. The Tea Party wing of the GOP makes for a nice volatility.
Meanwhile, I am looking into my Community Supported Agriculture or CSA share with diligence. Get off the grid as much as you can. Ultimately all presidents seem to go through a massive propaganda training program, they are viciously brainwashed. Eventually they all need to appease corporate power, start a war, transfer public wealth to the rich, and maintain a talking point of democracy while simultaneously usurping democratic rights and empowering the elite.
CS Monitor: How big GOP 2012 field could boil down to three
The latest to say “I’m in” is Congresswoman Bachmann of Minnesota, a tea party firebrand and born-again Christian who could shake up the race by doing well in her native Iowa.
...the race for the 2012 GOP nomination may boil down to just three serious contenders: former Governor Romney of Massachusetts, former Governor Pawlenty of Minnesota, and Gov. Haley Barbour of Mississippi.
Barbour is the ultimate insider in the race...
Pawlenty could wind up on top by default as the least objectionable.

Chris Christie NJ's Gov. will be the candidate in 2012. I'd bet on it.
Interesting I will check him out.
