Unemployment Benefits Extended

Despite the Republicans vision of full unemployment and an arising fear in the American public that the deficit is the problem and must therefor be reduced at all costs, unemployment benefits for 2.5 million people got an extension. I do support this act and yes the can has been kicked down the road. All I know is that 2.5 million people better find some kind of self employment work real fast because this bill is not getting renewed, that is not going to happen. Also the economy on its own is not going to create 2.5 million jobs by November 30th.

McClatchy: Jobless-benefits bill clears key test; passage assured
The new measure will allow benefits to continue through Nov. 30.

Moderate Democratic lawmakers from swing districts have been increasingly reluctant to back deficit spending. Liberal Democrats painted Republicans as heartless for insisting on offsetting spending cuts, however, citing stories of personal hardship to illustrate their points and getting Obama directly involved.

The whole bunch are beneath contempt. They sit in their AC cooled offices surrounded with themselves and they have the gall to judge others. The Gopers aren't even humans, their friggin Corp. robots.
