Its strikes me that the people who are showing up at these crazed town halls are the poorer, ill informed Southern white wing. Their oppositional platform seems rather poorly formed. Its more about fear and racism than anything else.
The money for the opposition comes from a cast of weasels. These are the silent millionaires and billionaires who are attempting to maintain their vampire need for blood from the main artery of American health care or rather the lack there of.

Whose surprised @ this? It's amazing though how easy they can get the trailer trash out isn't it? Just scream the N word and tell these useful fools that someone wants to take something from them and they arrive mad as hell. I loved the one group of screamers last week yelling Give us OUR AMERICA back. WTF? Their AMERICA? Talk about a sense of entitlement!
As the ship goes down, they are writhing louder and louder.
I have confidence that Obama will get something done. They have the votes and basically most people want it.
