Its 9 p.m. and I can't find info on how the Nikkei is doing on Friday. Somebody at Reuters is slipping.

That may in fact be superior information over the long haul.
Anyhow, just supposing, the Nikkei might open higher on Friday, after all the DOW and S&P rose today. It ended as we expected. Oil and Wal-Mart trumped drifting consumer spending and bad unemployment numbers.
10,000 here we come.
