U.S. consumer prices were flat in July versus June, but fell over the past 12 months by the most since 1950, according to government data that suggested benign inflation pressure even amid signs the recession may be winding down.

Recession winding down 4 whom? The reason inflation is some what tame is because the Recession is a very long way from being over for the average American. if u started the Recession making 300K your probably making 320K now while a few million others are making jack shit.
Capitalism is partly about shifting resources. Several million people needed to be tapped in order to sweeten the pot for a few. This is an old story in America. Now the elite feed on their own, and the rest of the world.
