14 Months Of Recession?

Considering how accurate our public speaking economists have been so far, we might consider taking this 14 month recession plan with a grain of salt. Take it with two grains of salt.

Basically they are saying we are half way through the recession. Are you buying it?

Reuters: U.S. recession will last 14 months: Fed survey
The forecasters survey also said the U.S. economy entered recession April and that the downturn would last for 14 months.

It's a recession for those with a job and healthcare etc. For the rest of us it's already a depression.

I know you are unemployed GK and I feel for you. I hope at some point you can get into something that you like. Its not uncommon for people to have a hiatus and if you can keep your head above water, then you did something right. A lot are living paycheck to paycheck and many much worse than that.

Yep. Thanks! I've already been through two careers. Now I have to find my way to a third in the middle of what might be remembered as the Great Recession or The Great Depression 2. Oh well, nobody ever said it would be a bed of roses. Unless of course you were born a BV$H etc.
