Fundamental Health Care Issue

Creating universal health care is a good idea but we need actual doctors to provide services.

Reuters: Many doctors plan to quit or cut back: survey
Primary care doctors in the United States feel overworked and nearly half plan to either cut back on how many patients they see or quit medicine entirely...

More than 90 percent said the time they devote to non-clinical paperwork has increased in the last three years and 63 percent said this has caused them to spend less time with each patient.

Yes, they need huge staffs to fight tooth and nail for payment from a Healhcare Ins. Industry that thinks it's ok to hold up patient care causing people too die. What's needed is Gov't support for all those going to Med. school. As a society we should pay for these people's education and then staff our single payer system with them. If we start now in 20 yrs. we will have a 1st class care system not the for profit Ins. owned fiasco we've allowed to develop. It's a simple fact of life Ins. companies make a profit by not paying for care and for creating new ways to deny it while all the time raising preminums. Their greed and murderous malfeasance is completely out of control. They're ruining the system and dragging us all down with them. Add the greedy ass drug ( legal drugs) cartels too this as well.

I like the idea of government support for med students. They already do that by supporting them with tuition with a commitment to go into the military. After graduation they have to put in so many years. Its basically the same idea except this time they put in so many years with the public. From a Republican point of view giving med students tuition for the military is fine, but giving them tuition for the public is socialism even though both would be tax payer supported.

What can be done for Republicans? They're only solution for everything is to use violence. If u can justify your expenditure for military use it's ok with a Repub., otherwise God forbid it's SOCIALISM! These folks hate society they only like guns. We need to just ignore these idiots and push on. More Drs. means cheaper medicine and better medicine. Right now a med. student has to put themselves 1 mil. in debt to get an ed. They then have to charge high prices to pay for the huge anmounts of % and Ins. just to get started. We need as a society to as I said, pay for these people to become Drs. with the deal being they work for society for say 10 yrs to pay off their debt to us. Then they can become private Drs. The present system isn't working we need to try something different.
