He wants to create millions of jobs.
It will be interesting to see what will come of it. We must remember that Bush and his gang of robber barons have completely bankrupted the country, and have feverishly worked to place all wealth into the hands of a few.
At least there is a president elect who is planning to work for more than just a few.

President-elect Barack Obama said on Saturday he was crafting a two-year plan to fight an economic crisis...
Obama gave a bleak view of the situation, saying swift and bold action was needed to prevent a deep slump, a spiral of falling prices, and millions of job losses.
He signaled he was prepared to push for a much larger package than the $175 billion stimulus measure he called for in his election campaign. His plan would set a goal of creating 2.5 million more jobs by January 2011 -- a two-year scenario.

It looks like for the next two mos. all were going to see is the broad outlines of just how deep the rot is in what's left of our economy. If you deduct what's left of the financial sector it's scary too say the least. The smart guys/gals with the numbers sure fouled up didn't they? Or was it all just part of a huge illusion they all were foisting off on each other and some of us? Sounds a little like Buddhism doesn't it?
Yes, two months of pictures from Abu ghraib except its pictures from Wall Street. Obama has to watch his step as the right attempts to pin it all on him, he needs to remind those pinheads that he doesn't take over till 1-20.
People in government probably had a sense of the incoming disaster but this is Bush. Bush is playing politics all the time. He is trying to shift the blame, so even now they are working to blame Obama, its absurd. They saw this coming, they had to, you get all the information and your job is to understand it and analyze it, they had to see this coming. They are simply playing politics with the economic disaster. It only makes me more contemptuous of Bush.
BV$H ...the name will stick in all our throats for a very long time. I'll never forget the terrible feeling of doom I felt when he stole the election back in 2000 Dec. From there to here was almost a given. As Teddy Roosevelt once called them the "malefactors of great wealth" now hold most of the nations $$ and economic power in their greedy paws and I doubt they'll be willing to help Pres. Obama out, so he's on his own as are the rest of us. So ends the BV$H piracy.
