One would suspect that Americans are craving such forward thinking. Rasmussen now has it tied at 44% each. We have to ask what is John McCain offering and upon examination, its not much.
Gulf News: Clinton urges Democrats to get behind Obama
Clinton's enthusiastic call for party unity was designed to end a rift that has clouded the convention to nominate the first-term Illinois senator to face John McCain in the November 4 election.
The second day of the convention focused on economic themes and began to discuss Obama's plans to aid lower- and middle-class voters suffering in a faltering US economy, which polls show is the top issue in the final months of President George W. Bush's term.

Tied? How is this happening with all this country has experienced the last 8 yrs.? You have to wonder WTF is wrong with half of the voters in this country?
The Republicans have hit upon the narrative that resonates with America's racist shadow.
The Republicans are basically calling Obama, a "boy." They are saying he is an inexperienced youth. They may have found their formula. Unfortunately, the Republicans won't offer much more than that, it is presumed that McCain is more experienced because he is an old white guy.
Obama is the real deal. He is a once in a great while kind of leader. He's going to really captivate when he's out there. He will whip McCain in every debate, easily. He will actually have to adjust his intelligence so as not to make McCain look like a complete fool, and Obama can do that. People will still go for McCain out of fear, racism, and a desire to be lead around by an authoritarian daddy figure. Hopefully Obama has the lead. Compare Kerry and Obama, no contest, its Obama. He is that good.
Wait till he is up to speak at the convention. He is going to kill, it is going to make people cry out of hope and through bein inspired.
Yea, we'll see. Problem is many won't hear a thing he says because when they see his skin their minds turn off.
