Hillary Flips, Flops, and Canoodles

Hillary Clinton at the "Take Back America" conference had this to say about Iraq:

"The American military has succeeded, it is the Iraqi government which has failed to make the tough decisions that are important for their own people," Clinton said."

This is the exact same lame and utterly contemptuous talking point used by Bush apologist and cheerleader Mitch McConnell who last Sunday on 'Face the Nation' said:

"The Iraqi government has been a pretty big disappointment, we've given them an enormous opportunity here over the last 4 years to have a normal country and so far they haven't been able to take advantage of this opportunity and our commitment will not be there forever."

What, is there some kind of dark back room truce signed by this slippery group of fork tongued corporate shills to tuck the Iraq debacle all nice and neatly folded away into bye bye night night land. Hillary what are you thinking?

This happens when US military: 14 troops killed in 2 days Anybody remember these young men and women now dying at an alarming rate. Guess what? Its been an alarming rate all along.

The question is simple, what exactly is the difference between the leading candidate of the Democratic Party for President in '08 and the fundamentalist Bush crew?

Apparently there is no difference on the divisive issue of the decade.

I can't vote for Hillary Clinton. Ralph Nader recently called her a "coward." She is trying to smooth her way into the hearts and minds of the conservative crowd. Good for her, that's great politics, but what exactly does she stand for? I can tell everybody in the world exactly what they want to hear, but at some point that crap don't fly.

I don't like her. Never have. But given a choice between her and Freddie T. I'll hold my nose and vote for her.
