Gore on Impeachment

Al Gore recently was quoted as being opposed to efforts undertaken to impeach Bush.

Al Gore against any attempt to impeach Bush

"...due to lack of "time" and "consensus."

Of all the presidents, George Bush is the most deserving of impeachment.

The list of reasons to begin that particular process is vast.

The most important reasons are to restore credibiity to the political process in America, and to restore confidence in the U.S. Constitution.

Bush has trampled both.

I often wonder what drum beat Bush listens to that allows him to so deliberately violate the laws of this country.

There is the ugly sense that he holds himself above the ordinary laws of the nation, as if he were some kind of demigod.
