Don't get me wrong. I greatly respect Crosby's work. For me he was the glue in The Byrds and CSN, both big influences and material that endures. His early 70s solo stuff and duo with Nash was especially nuanced. That makes the fallout even more tragic.

Mark - yes, I am aware of this. It's painful. Artists' stage persona and ordinary life persona most certainly often do not coincide.
