...we can expect lots of self-aggrandizement once he’s in office. I don’t think it will go as far as gold-plated statues, but really, who knows?

Everything Paul is telling us is a fact and is true. None of it will change a thing. Corruption will be normalized by the media and Trumpf is going to find himself betrayed by his Russian pal in short order. My guess is Putin will use the moment to invade the Ukraine claiming it belongs to Russia historically as he claimed the Crimea also did. If we are going to use such claims as a cause belli ( reason for War) then Europe is once again on that road and the US will probably get pulled into such an event. Such a War would likely end up with the use of nukes.

Yes exactly, this is what is lurking in the background with Trump, who seems clueless. I could see him using nukes, I mean that level of godliness knows no bounds.

He's a very scary man to possess such power and our best hope is he pisses off those with the most to lose like the KOCH's and others of that ilk. A real power struggle at the top is shaping up because of the thin-skinned & vindictive nastiness of this man. BV$H was content to allow Cheney to run most of the show from the boiler room somewhere. This guy intends to just bark orders from Trumpf tower and he's going to use Twitter to empower the LYNCH MOB that's more than willing to do whatever he commands. The campaign is never going to stop,
but after Jan. 20th it will become weaponized to the max. Winning the Presidency is not going to be enough for this egomaniac and that fact alone is scary.
