We are now as I've been saying here over and over, on the rapid rise part of Dr. Michael Mann's famous hockey stick graph of Global warming. It's going to heat now rapidly in a very accelerated manner. These kinds of effects from the CO2 / CH4 levels in the atmosphere can happen quickly once you reach a certain amount of these elements in the mix. We've far surpassed the historical average and are now heading into amounts that were last present millions of years ago when the Ice caps were tiny compared today and the oceans were hundred of feet higher. In that era giant sharks, (Megalodons) roamed the ocean and whales were just evolving.

Unusually warm around these parts the last few days, I'm back to summer wardrobe, shorts and t-shirt. There's no question, it's getting hotter each year. Then you still get an a-hole like Trump up there spewing pure nonsense, so is it any wonder people are confused and how many people do the reading and the work to understand anyhow? Look at West Virginia, Trump's best chances of winning are in West Virginia. These people are doubling down on an economic model that's been dead for what two decade. Coal? Coal? WTF. They don't even user miners anymore for coal too, it's all done with huge machines chewing up mountains and leaving a moonscape behind.
