Sorry to say , but all of this is way too little way too late. Major change is now baked into the equation no matter what we do at this pt. short of stopping all new emissions and rapidly taking the excess GHGS out of the air. Even all of that won't change the fact that the Oceans are now holding enormous amounts of excess heat and CO2 already and none of the other actions are even close to happening anytime soon. Sadly, our kids and Gkids are screwed.

Sad to say, but what you are saying is true. People will be spending lots of effort figuring out how to cope with it all and live.
