tRumpf doesn't care about the law. The election is on 1 day and we have to expect in some of the States these people are going to try and disrupt it if they can. My guess is overall though it won't make a bit of difference. It's standard tRumpf fear, intimidation bullying. Come to the polls and face my armed goons is what they want voters voting against him to believe. They'll ignore him and the threats is my guess. If his brownshirts use violence that's another thing.

Some a-hole will no doubt do some stupid fool thing and attract media attention, but it will end up being just one guy. Trump's got a lot of explaining to do.
