The central Asian glaciers are sometimes referred to as the World's third Ice cap. The bad news is almost all of them are retreating rapidly and once gone half of humanity is going to be struggling to find water as these glaciers feed most of the large river systems in that region. It's just another in a long line of climate connected disasters unfolding throughout the world.

I found the article on how 2/3 of the globe's wild animals are about to disappear as a bit troubling too. It's panic stuff! Add it all together, Earth is about to start looking like Mars.
