The burden of proof would be placed on the victim, and the prosecutor would have to prove the shooter acted with malice.
The law is essentially a license to kill. Anyone can shoot another person and claim self-defense without bearing the burden of proof.

Don't like someone just make sure there in Fla. when you gun them down. It seems the radical wing of the GOP is at it again with it's endless obsession with the rights of gun owners. It's other obsession is with the rights of human embryos. Sooner or later someone in Fla. is going to gun down a pregnant women and these two rights are going to come into direct conflict. That will be interesting to watch.
This is just plain crazy, it's very dangerous and troubling. They can start shooting at the ocean soon too, because it's wiping out parts of Miami already.
