The proper ideological stance is everything in the GOP, facts are meaningless. I've followed the economic arguments going on at various conservative websites and blogs and they remind me of the kinds of posturing you'd expect from Marxists in the old days.
The main object of the GOP is to keep the public confused and at odds with one another so that the billionaire plutocrats can rob the bank, and gather more power and control while nobody is looking or even knows how or where to look. "GOP economics" - two words that are fundamentally antonyms. Might as well say - "mathematical pig".
