The Market On Tuesday

Good morning. It is 58 degrees and sunny here in the Upper Hudson Valley. Looks like we are in for another pleasant day in this area. Last night we went to the local library around 8. People were out wearing sweaters and long pants and I commented that it felt like Fall. Isn't the middle of August supposed to be the hottest 'Dog Days'? I guess not, especially in our new temperature world.

At 8:50 a.m. ET futures are moderately higher and the price of oil per barrel is up. The market is poised to open higher.

Allegedly geo-political tensions are not pressing on investors' minds and so the market is having a mini-rebound. Just last week the sky was falling so one can truly never predict how this puppy works. I suppose fundamentally that is why it is fascinating to me and maybe to you as well. Enjoy the morning's bump.
