It's near impossible to get 97 percent of scientists to agree about much of anything beyond the basic laws of physics. The fact that the consensus is this broad tells us it is time to end the idea that there is any debate in the scientific community.

The only debates among the scientists on this issue are about what and when things are going to skid downhill faster and faster if we don't start to remedy this problem. The debate over causes was over long ago. Only the big $$ bags of the Fossil Energy Corps. keep the media / political debate alive.
I think the BBC made the right move. They are not giving equal time to climate change deniers -

All major news outlets need to take the same course. Enough is enough.
