BY the way if you don't think the left has its craziness, your wrong. I was banned from the Alternet and KOS both. I was banned from KOS for uttering some anti-Obama thoughts and I was banned from the Alternet for sounding slightly Pro-Israel once. So, lets not fool ourselves into thinking that intolerance of others opinions is just a right wing thing, its not.

In the past month I've gone to a few local gatherings on important issues. The event were sponsored by lefties. Although I did not see what you describe in terms of censoring opinion, some of the opinions that were expressed by the crowd were pretty off the chart in my opinion. There's a lot of ideological wishing that goes on in the left and not a lot of practical action. If you can't practically implement a policy or decision then it's not something I want to waste time on.

I agree, lots of magical thinking on the left and not a lot of practical solutions or ways of implementing the ideas brought forward. The problems we face are actually worse then we think. If you just focus on the envirnoment as an example. Global warming is bad , but then add to it massive water and ground pollution largely going unregulated by anyone or any agency of any Gov't. The EPA, FDA etc. all largely captured and that's just our alphabet soup of corruption, add on top the rest of humanity and its pathetic. That's just one area were things are going south faster then we can imagine. What are the solutions on the left? March around like morons with banners expecting Corp, Military / Security and Political leaderships to respond lol. Not ever ever going to happen. All these folks have nice lives great jobs, good benefits, they have vacations, nice cars, and it goes on and on and on and all because they do NOTHING to obstruct ot thwart the SYSTEM. You stand up to the SYSTEM and you end up in your own private Idaho fast or worse in a Private or Public jail. Really really step up and the drone fleet and satellites zoom in on you and your family. Its just going to get uglier and uglier the more sophisticated and hi tech these creepy people become. 423 5358835

We are poisoning the nest. Funny it's a tactic that people use to socially assassinate someone. You poison the ground by spreading rumors innuendo. Makes me think that as a species we are rather immature because we are treating the environment with our weakest emotion and weakest thinking. And then we are protecting the people that do that and making the people who object to it powerless.
