The Market On Monday

Good morning. It is 64 degrees and sunny here in Upstate NY. The logos are predicting a hot week with lots of rain. I hope you had a good relaxing weekend and are ready to take on the demands of the week. They are saying Bergdahl is a deserter, this could be true but the man also spent 5 years in captivity. Someone that has gone through that type of suffering deserves a little bit of our sympathy.

At 8:15 a.m. ET futures are slightly higher and the price of oil per barrel is up. The market is poised to open slightly higher.

The market keeps rolling along. Today investors are cheering on strong manufacturing news out of China. In addition they will be parsing data on housing and manufacturing activity in the USA. We could be starting out June with more market advances. Our long expected correction is still on hold.

CNN: Stocks: 4 things to know before the open
