She's running for Congress out of New Orleans and this is one of her promotional campaign videos. Lots of interesting quotes in this one including global warming is a hoax used to expand the power of the presidency. The GOP needs to retool, America needs a smarter and useful GOP.

Yes they do. There's no scientific explanation why it's 'a hoax' but plenty of conspiracy conjecture tied to Obama and policy. It seems that the right's approach to denying global warming follows this 2 step pattern:
a. Completely sidestep scientific arguments.
b. Argue that it's a hoax which is being used to exploit a political position such as an executive branch power grab or a global movement to impose socialism.
