I'm looking at the list of GOP presidential candidates who apparently are legitimately throwing their hats into the ring and all I can say is oy - Gingrich, Santorum, and Donald Trump.

Never underestimate America's willingness to go trolling in an election.

But here's the news. I finally figured out where this "birther" thing comes from. What was I thinking! Anyhow, remember how Bush was not really elected in either 2000 or 2004. He was handed the presidency by the Supremes without recounting Florida, which most now believe went to Gore. Then there was all those election issues with Ohio in 2004. So we went through 8 years of Bush misery not even believing he was genuinely elected. Voila, hence we get the "birthers." The idea here is to cast the same shadow of he's not even authentically elected. How could I possibly have missed this.

Now here's the real laugher. Imagine if Gingrich gets elected. We can start a campaign called the "humaners." Exactly, is Gingrich a human being? I don't think so, I mean do you? Most Republicans don't even think he's a human being...
