Buffet Remarks On The Economy

The man is bullish on the American economy and especially likes its resilience.

Buffet likes stocks. Shares of Berkshire Hathaway A are now valued at $128,300. per share - not exactly the sort of thing the average smo' can speculate on.

Shares of Berkshire Hathaway B, the working man's version, are comparatively cheap at only $85. per share.

"There is a resiliency to the American system," he added. "It does work. It sputters from time to time, it will sputter from time to time, but you don't want to get worried."


He also maintained that stocks are a better investment over the long term than bonds, saying "it's a terrible mistake to buy into fixed-dollar investments" at current rates.
