State Report On Unemployment

Today each state posted reports on unemployment. The results are mixed at best. While more states posted improvement in the percents, almost as many posted more losses. Again, how many people are now below the radar because their benefits have expired or they were not counted initially because their work situation was slightly unorthodox, self-employed for example.

CNN: Unemployment rates rise in 14 states
A total of 18 states and the District of Columbia posted unemployment rate decreases in July, according to the Labor Department's monthly report on state unemployment. Jobless rates rose in 14 states and were unchanged in 18 states.

Wonderful news!! My son Jason just got hired by Del Marva Electric in Wilmington as a staff Videographer!! He graduated from University of the Arts with a BS with honors in Communications with a specialty in Video editing in June. I'm so happy and so proud of him. It's almost as good as getting a job myself!!
