Greenspan

Greenspan is now firmly calling for an end to the Bush tax cuts.

This is an old clip showing his endorsement of tax cuts during the Bush nightmare and then his tap dance about his role in their societal failure. Certainly the ultra-rich do not see them as a failure as our economy unravels.

Republicans are crapping all over themselves as they push for the continuation of these massive cuts for the rich while calling for austerity measures such as no more unemployment benefits. As usual Republican hypocrisy is rampant.

The GOP rant goes like this. Cut taxes for the rich because they've earned it. Cut benefits for the poor because they're all bums. No hypocrisy here the way they see it. Reward success and punish failure. Hell, if the Repugs really had their way on this they'd kill the poor and feed them to their pets. Unfortunately for them, I doubt even Ben Nelson and Max Bauchus will go along with that one. Obama though would probably want to compromise on that and only kill half the poor and only feed them to rich folks dogs not cats.
