Stockman worked in the Reagan administration, so it is safe to say he is a Republican insider. Certainly he has opened himself up to intense attack from the GOP.

I sent this to a rt. wing pal of mine. He basically said, Stockman was a hack. Anyone, deviates from Wingnut world they get called names and are kicked off the plantation. I asked him how can you cut taxes and cut taxes and revenue never goes up and you still say it increases revenue anyway. His answer was it just does and anyone that says other wise is playing the Class warfare card. In other words I can't prove shit but cut taxes anyway just because. Then I asked him if we should also cut SS, Medicare etc. and he said get rid of it all cause it's just welfare for losers. Oh and to top it off he was all for bailing out Wall st. but that wasn't welfare see that was savin the economy.
The battle lines are formed. The cuts have to go. How do you justify a trillion dollar give away in a time of economic collapse. Is it safe to say this guy is well off.
Yes, he is. He's also from a wealthy family. It's just so much self serving nonsense. These folks just want it their way because it takes care of them. He has always hated the new Deal as long as I've known him. Of course, he's never needed to use any of the net because he's always had money. What is so disturbing to me about him and others like him is he has no capacity for empathy, except for people like himself. Sad, really.
